How agency TabooGrow uses Zigpoll to close new clients and measure the impact of Reddit
TabooGrow is a Reddit marketing agency, with clients focused on selling adult products. We had the chance to chat with their owner Warren to understand how they were using Zigpoll to:

As a Reddit marketing agency, one consistent barrier for TabooGrow is that brands do not realize that Reddit is a viable marketing channel.
To counter this, Warren offers to install Zigpoll’s free plan on their behalf, so the brand has a better understanding of sales attribution. Here’s their process:

Quantifying the impact of marketing channels like Reddit for clients
Survey Type: Post purchase surveys
Survey Question: "How did you first hear about BRAND?", "Which social network?", "To find us on Google, did you search 'BRAND?'"
Because of trends such as cookieless browsers, ad blockers, and incognito browsing, traditional reporting in Google Analytics and Shopify frequently give no credit to Reddit as a marketing channel.
Meanwhile they overreport the impact of other channels like Google.
Implementing a post purchase survey let TabooGrow prove to one of their clients the exact percentage of sales that could be attributed to Reddit:
"When we look at the attribution, traffic and sales, based on Shopify numbers, Google Analytics numbers, very little is attributed to Reddit.
A report we do [with Zigpoll] one of the clients showed that all-time Reddit's at 8.2% [of sales]."
In addition to measuring the impact of Reddit, TabooGrow also gives the ability to gain deeper insight on other channels like Google:
"We were able to ask follow-up questions and when you put a little bit of structure it’s crazy powerful. For example if you found us on Google, were you searching for the brand term? Or something else? There's really no good way to do this without Zigpoll."

Generating detailed revenue reports using Zigpoll metadata exports
Zigpoll surveys collect customer metadata, including information such as the value of their orders.
By using Zigpoll’s export capabilities, TabooGrow could export data directly to Google Sheets and then use Pivot tables to generate detailed reports for clients on a recurring basis.
One sample report that they generate for clients? Every two weeks they combine Zigpoll attribution data with Shopify sales data to get an accurate revenue breakdown by marketing channel. Making it easy for TabooGrow to prove their impact.
