How To: Set up a custom survey domain
With some small DNS settings you can configure Zigpoll to use your own custom domain name. This way customers can always trust that the survey is coming directly from your brand. To get set up, follow the steps below:
- In your DNS dashboard, enter a CNAME entry that points to connect.zigpoll.com.
- Notify us that you would like to use a custom domain and share the subdomain you want to use from the previous step.
- We will set up a custom certificate for you. Once that certificate has been verified and added you can proceed to the next step.
- Log into your Zigpoll dashboard. Click the General tab. Enable the switch labeled Custom Survey Domain and enter in the subdomain you selected in the previous step.
Enter a CNAME pointing to connect.zigpoll.com
Enter the domain and press save.
Thats it! Now all of your public links will point to your custom subdomain. Any email or SMS campaigns run through Zigpoll will automatically use your domain for links as well. Please reach out to us via our contact form if you have any questions about setting this up. We are always happy to help!
